Convert world currencies to rupees.
How this tool will work
At launch, convert 150+ currencies to INR with live rates and see the bank-rate vs mid-market difference. Until then, the explainer below covers what matters.
Mid-market vs what you get
The 'real' rate sits halfway between buy and sell prices. Every provider — banks, forex cards, UPI international — adds a margin on top. A 2% margin on ₹1 lakh costs you ₹2,000.
Watch the charges, not just the rate
A great rate with a flat ₹1,000 fee can lose to a slightly worse rate with zero fee on small amounts. Always compare the final rupees received.

Example
Example: at ₹83 per dollar, $1,000 = ₹83,000 at the mid-market rate — banks typically give you a little less.
FAQs
Why is the bank rate worse than Google's?
Google shows the mid-market rate. Banks and forex cards add a 1–3% markup plus GST on the markup. Always compare the final credited amount.
What is TCS on foreign remittance?
Transfers above the yearly threshold for most purposes attract 20% TCS (lower for education/medical with conditions). It is adjustable against your tax, not an extra tax.
Best way to pay abroad from India?
Zero-markup forex cards or specialist transfer services usually beat bank wire rates. Compare total cost including fees and GST.
