GST Calculator
Add or remove GST and split CGST/SGST instantly.
CGST + SGST apply within a state; the full amount becomes IGST for inter-state sales.
How it works
To add GST, multiply the base price by the slab rate. To remove it, divide the tax-inclusive price by (1 + rate) to recover the base. Within a state, GST splits equally into CGST and SGST.
Example
₹1,000 at 18% becomes ₹1,180 (₹90 CGST + ₹90 SGST). Removing 18% from ₹1,180 gives back the ₹1,000 base price.
